Executive Workflows

The owners who get the most out of their C-Suite build a rhythm around it. Not a complex system — just a few habits that keep operations running without thinking. Here are the patterns that work.

The Morning Briefing

Start your day with one message:

"What do I need to know today?"

Your COO pulls together:

  • Schedule — meetings, deadlines, deliveries, bookings.
  • Overnight — emails, messages, requests that came in.
  • Needs attention — flagged items, overdue tasks, anything waiting on you.
  • Financial pulse — (C-Suite) any invoices past due, cash position alerts from the CFO.

Ten seconds to ask. Thirty seconds to read. You walk in already oriented.

Meeting Prep

Before any meeting — client, vendor, investor — ask:

"Prep me for the 2pm with Davis Construction. What's the history, what's open, what should I walk in knowing?"

The COO pulls the relationship history, the CLO flags any contract issues, the CFO surfaces financial exposure, and you walk in prepared.

Post-Meeting Processing

After a meeting, upload the transcript or your notes:

"Here's what happened in the Davis meeting. Pull action items, log decisions, and draft the follow-up email."

Action items get assigned. Decisions get logged. The follow-up gets drafted. All in the time it takes you to grab coffee.

End-of-Day Report

Before you close out:

"What happened today?"

Your COO recaps what got done, what's still open, and what's coming tomorrow. (C-Suite adds: financial movements, strategic items the CSO flagged, any compliance items from the CLO.)

Weekly Review

Once a week, go deeper:

"Give me the weekly review — operations, financials, and anything strategic I should be thinking about."

The full C-Suite weighs in. The CFO summarizes the week's financial picture. The CMO reports on market activity. The CSO flags strategic decisions on the horizon. One digest, every perspective.

Exception Alerts

Set standing rules so your C-Suite only pulls you in when something matters:

  • "Ping me if any invoice goes 30 days past due."
  • "Flag any booking cancellation within 48 hours."
  • "Tell me immediately if a key vendor goes silent for more than 3 days."

These run silently in the background. Silence means everything's fine.

Built for owners who refuse to sit in every meeting.
